2011 Rookies…

Note: This is just my opinion, I am not speaking for all BBC’s though I think some, if not all would agree with me. FYI: this is long, so if you read it, thank you.

I’m not trying to come off arrogant, but I honestly doubt that any of the other rookies from 2011 have gone through the same amount of shit Block B has. Sure they may have gone through something but I doubt it would measure up to the amount of problems Block B has dealt with [and are still dealing with].

Whenever I see other (2011 rookie) fandom’s complaining, I just want to laugh. It’s definitely annoying in some aspects, especially if what they are complaining about is minor. But then again its KPOP, and in the world of KPOP hypocrites run wild and free. It’s fine for them to complain, but when it comes to BBC’s complaining its deemed unacceptable. (And I’m not just referring to the Thailand scandal either.) Believe it or not, BBC’s have a right to express their complaints.

If you have followed Block B since Day 1, or if you are up to date on everything that has happened to them since their debut, then you would know their hardships as rookies.

Part of me wants to team up with other BBC’s to make a Timeline dating from April 15, 2011 up until now. I think if people were to see EVERYTHING that’s happened to them since debut, then they might change their opinions. It’s sad to say but most BBC’s are used to seeing Block B mistreated in Korea, and we’re used to our fandom name being tarnished by others. It comes with the territory. Even if you don’t like Block B, you have to admit they are determined and strong willed.

I’m tired of all the bullshit, and after everything that’s gone on the past month I sometimes wonder if the boys will ever celebrate a 1 year anniversary. The media is just having a field day, along with antis. I guess Block B is the new scapegoat and easiest group to pick on because:

• They are rookies
• They come from a small company
• They don’t have much support in Korea 
• Their scandals (some of which aren’t even their fault)

As a BBC I’m frustrated, so I can’t even begin to imagine how they feel. They probably feel helpless. And sadly, part of me thinks they are used to all of this and its just become routine…

• Gain success and recognition
• Make a mistake (minor or major)
• Apologize to the parties involved and reflect on your actions 
• Get back on your feet 
• Work harder than ever to gain acceptance in the industry and your country

And after that it starts all over again. It’s like a never-ending cycle.

There is only so much a person can take, and I am tired of seeing these boys (yes I said boys because they are still young) being berated, degraded, and harassed. They’ve hit rock bottom career wise, but people still want to run them into the ground. Why is that? Maybe its self-gratification knowing that you have the power to ruin someone else’s well-being and career.

I know the potential Block B has, and even people from other fandom’s can see it. All of these incidents, bad press, and negativity have happened to them and they haven’t even been out 1 year. Yeah I get scared they may disband.. but I also remember how strong willed they are. It’s going to take a long time for them to gain success in Korea, but its not impossible. Success won’t come over night and it won’t be given to them….they’ll have to EARN it.

Each time they come with a new album I see improvement and growth as an artist. The fact that all of these bad things have happened to them so early in the game means that good things will happen in the future. Things have to get worse before they can get better.

This will not only strengthen them as individuals and as a group… it will strengthen BBC’s as well. We may be small, but we are strong. After the countless problems Block B has faced we have to be strong. They need us more than anything now. The bandwagon fans have been weeded out, and the fake fans continue to leave. BBC (Block B Club) is more than a fandom…. its a family. I think after the past scandal its only suitable to say BBC=family. Yes some BBC’s can be extreme, but EVERY fandom has extreme fans, so its not right to just single us out.

Lastly, I think the ONLY way to truly get people to understand BBC’s perspective on everything is if there was a Timeline with everything that’s happened to them since their debut. People need visual proof and not essays (like this one). Hopefully things will get better for them soon, but I won’t get my hopes up. The media is just going to milk this thing until another group screws up.

I’m gonna casually tack on to the end here as a little reminder- if it wasn’t for P.O., Zico would be both the leader and the maknae. That’s right, out of all seven members, he is the second youngest. Yet he’s the one who always shoulders all the responsibility. He apologizes for other members’ actions. He produces every. Single. Song. On. The. Albums. He’s the third best dancer, while dealing with asthma. He’s still a boy- only 19. But he’s taking on the entire Korean media industry, and there’s no way in hell he’s gonna stop now. “I never give up- because I got a dream.” Damn straight. With all of Block B behind him, he’s going to shake the base of k-pop as we know it.

Final Edit: I never expected this to get so many reblogs and likes. That really means a lot to know that others feel the same way I feel. I hope not only BBC’s read this, but other fandoms too. Continue to spread this so that they can see it. I didn’t want to tag this with other fandoms because I don’t feel like dealing with immaturity over the internet (even though I was very careful and considerate with my words). I hope more people continue to read this, and I really was serious about the Timeline thing too ^^

Assalamualaikum ! Dah lama aku tak update rasanya . Sebab aku pergi Kuantan dengan family aku . Pergi sana sebab sepupu aku kahwin sambil tu pergi bercuti . Woohoooo . Aku pergi sana tiga hari je . Masa sampai kat Kuantan terus pergi kat ruma mak sedara sepupu aku . Lepas tu aku jumpa la cousin aku , macam  dah setahun tak jumpa . Harhar . And then kitorang cakap2 , makan kuih minum air , lepas tu kitorang lepak kat luar //lol . Luas gila halaman dia . 

Lepas makan apa semua tu , aku ngan family aku pergi cari hotel . Kitorang pergi hotel mana entah . Eh , resort rasanya . Ntah , aku tak ingat . Lmao . Bila sampai je kat hotel tu , ayah aku pergi check in . Lepas check in tu aku ngan adik beradik aku masuk dalam bilik . Kecik je pun bilik sebab nak tido kat situ semalaman je . Pastu terus tido . 

Aku bangun dalam pukul 8 agaknya . Bila bangun tu aku tgok semua orang dah bangun . Aku sorang je bangun lewat . Lmao . And then diorang pergi breakfast , aku tak nak pergi . Lol . Aku malas lagipun aku tak lapar pun . Lepas diorang breakfast adik aku mengada nak mandi kolam . Harhar --' .

Ya Allah , sedap gila ! sepanjang aku duk kat Kuantan , aku makan kawasan situ je . Harhar . 

Masa malam tu pulak kitorang pergi kat rumah perempuan yang kahwin tu //aku tak tau nak panggil apa . paham tak ? kalau x paham buat2 paham . Lol . Untuk akad nikah . Lepas akad nikah tu , ramai gila orang tangkap gambar --' flash sana sini . sakit mata aku , kah3 . Sepupu aku semua tangkap gambar kecuali aku . Serious , sepupu aku ada ajak nak tangkap gambar . Tapi aku tak nak sebab aku tak nak orang tengok muka buruk aku tu . Muahaha . --' serious tak suka lah . 

Pagi tu aku ngan family aku pergi Gambang Waterpark . Ramai gila orang , biasalah cuti kan . Best kot kat situ . kah3 . Aku paling suka dekat Beach tu . Yang ada ombak . HAHAHA. Kuat gila ombak dia . Masa kat situ aku nampak laki ni , serious handsome gila . Dia ada iras2 Himchan B.A.P . Pastu jumpa lagi laki yang iras2 SHINee Taemin . Diorang melayu ok . Bukan Cina . Kitorang ada kat situ kira2 5 jam kot . Muahaha . Best gila ! 

And then , aku ngan family aku pergi Sungai Isap untuk pergi kenduri sepupu aku tu . Aku ngan sedara2 aku duk kat meja depan sekali . Muahahaha . Biasalah tetamu tehormat //perasan . Nenek ngan Atuk aku duk kat meja pengantin . HAHA . Majlis ni buat kat dalam dewan . Lepas pengantin siap makan , diorang potong kek pulakk . Tinggi jugak kek tu . hahaha .
